Greenhouse part 2

These are the vegetables I have been growing in the greenhouse in window boxes hoping to get some early vegetables.  Have never done this before so will be interesting.

  1. Looks like you have some baby greens you can harvest for a salad. Are those beets in the 2nd photo?

I used the epsom salt spray mixture you told me about on my peppers. I went ahead and put it on the eggplant and the tomatoes already planted. I hope it won't hurt. I had one small cubanelle pepper forming.

  2. There are beets in both pictures. I like the beet greens when they get bigger and cook them like spinach.

Hope the epsom salt helps the plants. Have never used it on egg plant but then I can't grow egg plant.

  3. What do you use the epsom salt for? You sure have a green thumb!

  4. Epsom salts contain magnesium. It enables the roots to absorb nutrients and it will also green up a plant that is looking a little sickly especially peppers. Also with peppers if sprayed when they are blossoming it is suppose to help set the fruit.
