I have to report no Harvest this week. I did pick some parsley from my Aero Garden yesterday to use in my Stroganoff last night but forgot to take a picture of it. The garden still isn't planted with all the rain and cold weather. Only 48 this morning. Nothing will grow in that weather other than maybe ice sickles.
There is hope however that I will someday have tomatoes even if they have to grow in the greenhouse all summer long.
Be sure to visit the host of Harvest Monday
and see what others are harvesting.
I hope your weather turns for you soon so you can do some planting. Those greenhouse tomatoes look great though.
ReplyDeleteYour tomato plants look very happy and healthy!! Hopefully you will be able to get them in the ground soon!
ReplyDeleteI just love your half/half bread....great idea!
Well...even though your plants aren't in the ground, they look good!
ReplyDeleteYour tomato plants look great! They look about to be producing. Hope the weather gets warmer soon in your area.
ReplyDeleteYour tomato plants do look great. Who cares if they are in the ground?
ReplyDeleteYou'll have some soon it looks like.
Oh how sad. My mom gardened in zone 4 (Colorado mountains) for years. And you could never trust the weather there. Eventually she got a greenhouse and now she only plants in there.
ReplyDeleteWe are getting some cold weather tomorrow supposedly. It is only supposed to get to 58F, but today was supposed to get only to 60F and already it is 68 here. We have only had four days now of clouds and already I'm tired of them and ready for sun. With the weather fluctuations I can never figure out what to wear. I get into hot mode with summer dresses then it gets cold and I'm wearing long pants again and drinking tea.
Your tomato plants in your greenhouse look so healthy! Nice!
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone. Those tomato plants in the first picture are a tradition with me. They were planted January 28th. The anniversary of the shuttle going down. DH and I owned big commercial greenhouses back then and he was planting our patio tomatoes for resale come spring when he saw the news. Every since then I have always started my patio tomatoes on January 28th.
